The most classic sunrise point in Thailand is here. Photographs cannot show the beauty of a real place, but suffice it to explain that the tour begins with a local boat ride out of the canal where both sides are filled with beautiful landscape.

As soon as your boat exits the canal into a giant lagoon connected to the vast ocean, the picture will change.
