Khai Island
The nearest beautiful Island from Phuket.
There are 3 Khai (Eggs) Island Group - Khai Nai, Knai Nui and Khai Nok. All of them are located nearby and they can be visited within one day.
Khai Nok Island is the biggest one, the tourist love to use as the main stop station for Khai Islands trip. You can do the snorkeling from the Beach around Khai Nok Island.
Khai Nai Island is smaller than Khai Nok and just 5 Minutes by speed boat from Khai Nok. After get full of snorkeling at Khai Nok, you can take (your speed boat) to do next snorkeling.
Khai Nui Island is the smallest one of the group. The speed boat cannot be parked on the beach of Khai Nui. You have to jump down from the boat for snorkeling. But the coral reef and fishes around this island is very nice and beautiful. See the Route
Racha (Raya) Island
Best Times: All Year.
Racha Island is just about 30 Minutes by speed boat from Phuket. There are just 4 beaches on Racha Island:
Khon Tae Beach: It will be rocky beach but the coral reef under the water is the most completed with full of marine life - Million kinds of fishes.
Siam Bay Beach: No coral reef, but a million fishes too. The beach is very white and filled. It is a great place and very peaceful for sun bathing (There is only one hotel on the beach)
Patok Bay Beach: It is a very nice sandy beach, the 6 stars hotel (The Racha) located on this. Good place for snorkeling from the beach and sunbathing.
Ao-Tue Bay: It is smallest bay on Racha Island. Good for snorkeling and Swimming. See the Route
Tachai or Virgin Island
Most Beautiful Beach of Thailand located on this Island.
If you are the one of beach lovers, for sure Tachai Island will never do you miss hope. There is only one long beach on the Island. But it can be the most beautiful beach in Thailand. The problem is that you are able to visit this Island just from November-April. Sea the Route
Surin Island
